Thank you to all the wonderful participants of the Build-A-Baymax camp! We had 30 girls particpate in this two month long program where they made Baymax, everyone’s favorite robot, come to life.

All students were supplied with kits containing Raspberry Pis and accessories necessary for the project. During the program, participants learned how to make a Baymax who can detect faces and has voice recognition capabilities using Raspberry Pi, which is a credit card-sized computer. This project will teach students coding skills in PHP, Linux, and Python, as well as showing them how to apply these skills.

We hope to continue our partnership with NCWIT so look forward to more exciting camps in the future!
